A romcom-like modern love story has been gaining huge attention on Twitter, as a man desperately tries to work out the number of a woman he met in a bar from a cryptic note she gave to him. The story was shared by the man's cousin and quickly attracted thousands of likes, comments and retweets, the Mirror reports.
On Tuesday, Henpecked Hal posted a screenshot of a text exchange with his cousin, which included a picture of a napkin with a phone number written on it. It had been given to him by a woman he met in a bar, but two of the digits were replaced with asterisks.
The love struck cousin had texted Hal to say he met his “soulmate” the night before, to which Hal asked if he had got her number. “Most of it,” the cousin replied, before sending a picture of the note.
