A dad who assaulted a boy who threw an egg through a car window and on to his sick child is now the subject of a fundraising effort to pay his court fines.
Vincent Peters said he launched the “out of character” assault in Old Swan last year because he was concerned about the effect being hit by an egg would have on his young child, who had been in hospital after having seizures.
The 27-year-old, had been driving on East Prescot Road on August 1, last year, when the boy targeted his blue Skoda.
