A man has been seriously injured after a stabbing at Parkside, south of the CBD, this morning.
Police and paramedics were called to Blyth Street just after 6am following reports a man had been stabbed.
Police said a 20-year-old man was found at the scene with potentially life-threatening injuries and was rushed to the Royal Adelaide Hospital by ambulance.
He remains in a serious but stable condition.
A 17-year-old girl with minor injuries was found at a nearby house.
Police arrested a 26-year-old Elizabeth Grove man and later charged him with causing serious harm with intent.
He has been refused police bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Monday.
Police said a knife believed to have been involved in the incident had been seized for examination.
They said the investigation was ongoing but they want to reassure the local community that it was not a random incident and the people involved appear to know each other.
They have urged anyone with information that would help the investigation to contact Crime Stoppers.
