A man has been rushed to hospital with injuries following an incident in Trafford near to Old Trafford Stadium this morning.
Police were called to Chester Road in Stretford at around 11.30am on Wednesday morning (February 22) after receiving reports of an incident.
Police are currently still at the scene. Pictures from the scene show a walkway and car park, between Trafford Town Hall and the Tesco Extra Stretford store, cordoned off whilst officers carry out their investigation.

The cordon remains in place, with CID officers combing the area.
In a statement, a spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: “At approximately 11:30am on 22 February 2023, officers were called to reports of an incident on Chester Road in Stretford.
“A man was injured and has been taken to hospital for treatment.”
