Man rushed to hospital with head injury after rammy in Glasgow as police launch probe

A man has been rushed to hospital with a head injury after a disturbance on a Glasgow street.

Cops raced to Ruchazie Place, in the city's East End at around 4pm on Tuesday, November 29. Officers found a 32-year-old man with a head injury at the scene.

He was rushed to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment. His condition is not yet known.

Locals reported seeing a heavy police presence in the area, as the force launched a probe into the rammy. One woman said cops were seen searching nearby gardens after the area was taped off.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called around 4pm to a report of a disturbance on Ruchazie Place, Glasgow.

“A 32-year-old man sustained a head injury and was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment. Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
