Man rushed to hospital after running in front of moving cars
A man has been taken to hospital after running in front of moving traffic in Liverpool.
Police were called to Conwyn Drive, at around 8am this morning, Thursday, March 24 after safety concerns for a man running in front of traffic. They have since confirmed a man, in his 30s was spotted on Sheil Road, Kensington, running in front of cars and suffered several injuries.
Road closures were in place as police dealt with the incident with around five police cars and one ambulance at the scene. He was later taken to hospital for treatment.

A spokesperson for Merseyside police said: "At around 8am this morning (Thursday 24 March) officers were called to a report of concern for safety of a man on Conwy Drive in Liverpool. A man in his 30s was spotted a short time later on Shiel Road in Kensington running in front of moving vehicles on the road with several injuries."

Hunting knife and crack stash seized during drug raid
Police seized a large quantity of cocaine and hunting knife after a man from Bootle was arrested.
A 37-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday, April 23 after officers observed 'suspicious circumstances.' He was in possession of a substance thought to be heroin.
Officers then carried out a search of a 'linked property' in the Bootle area and discovered 30 wraps of suspected crack cocaine and a large hunting knife.

Merseyside drivers warned over A55 speed trap catching out hundreds
Drivers have been warned to be vigilant of an A55 speed trap catching out hundreds of holidaymakers.
A temporary 40mph speed restriction is in place on the North Wales road between Abergwyngregyn and Talybont, Gwynedd. The A55 access roads are being removed and eight gaps in the central reservation are being added as part of the roadworks, while a new parallel road, with underpasses, is being built for farm vehicles.
ECHO reader Anthony Martindale was furious when he was penalised after he was caught speeding on both directions between junctions 12 and 13 on February 6. The motorist sent a letter to the ECHO as he was fined £100, awarded three points on his licence and ordered to take a driver's awareness course costing £90 - as North Wales Live reports.
