A man has been rushed to hospital after a suspected stabbing at a pub in Hyde. Police are at the scene outside the White Lion, in Hyde, after being called at around 4pm today (May 18).
Officers were called to reports of a suspected stabbing. A man has been taken to hospital for medical treatment, however the extent of his injuries are unknown.
A man has been arrested in connection with the incident and remains in custody for questioning. Police did not provide further details about the arrest.
A cordon is in place outside the pub, on the corner of Clarendon Street and Market Place.

A spokesperson for the force said: "Greater Manchester Police were called to the White Lion on Market Place, Hyde at around 4pm today (Thursday 18 May 2023) to reports of a suspected stabbing.
"The extent of the injuries sustained by a man are unclear at this time whilst medical treatment is received at hospital, whilst an arrest of a man has been made in connection with this incident.
"A scene is still in place whilst enquiries continue. Anyone with information that may help are asked to call 101 quoting incident number 2446 of 18/05/2023."
