A man who grabbed a hotel employee's bottom without consent on a stag do left her in tears, a court has heard.
Tyrone Gallagher, 29, of New Street, Strabane, appeared at Liverpool Magistrates Court after pleading guilty to sexual assault. Yvonne Dobson, prosecuting, told the court the victim started her shift at a Travelodge as a receptionist, and witnessed a large stag party of which Gallagher was part of, be checked in by her colleague.
The victim didn’t see the group leave the hotel, but later had dealings with the defendant when he arrived back alone. Gallagher asked a male staff member for his room number which he provided, but returned to reception ten minutes later with nothing on his feet.
