A motorbike rider was seriously injured after he was involved in a collision with a car at a roundabout.
A 50 year old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a crash at a roundabout near Cheshire Oaks, Ellesmere Port yesterday (Wednesday, November 2). Police were called out to the roundabout on Longlooms Road East at around 12.30pm when they recieved reports of a crash involving a red motorbike and a grey Hyundai.
Police said the motorcyclist was taken to Aintree hospital with serious injuries. They said that though serious, his injuries were not life threatening.

The incident resulted in the temporary closure of Longlooms Road from the Coliseum roundabout up to the Marks and Spencer store near Cheshire Oaks, reports Cheshire Live.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: "Officers were called at around 12.30pm on Wednesday, November 2 to Longlooms East roundabout following reports of a collision involving a red motorcycle and a grey Hyundai.
"The motorcyclist, a 50-year-old man, was taken to Aintree Hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
"Anyone who may have witnessed the collision is asked to contact Cheshire Police via cheshire.police.uk/police-forces/cheshire-constabulary/areas/cheshire/about-us/about-us/provide-more-information-about-an-appeal/ quoting IML 1403382 or by calling 101."
