A man who left a bag of wires and an iPad outside the US embassy in London for “graffiti art” has been cleared of making a bomb hoax in his absence due to a “misunderstanding”.
The embassy went into lockdown and bomb disposal experts were called after the suspicious package was found on the morning of November 22 last year.
