Police are appealing for witnesses after an assault at a Bexleyheath pub left a man with serious injuries on Christmas Day.
The incident, which occurred shortly after midnight on Thursday December 25, took place at the Wrong Un pub on Bexleyheath Broadway.
Officers were called to reports of an assault, where a 27-year-old man was treated by paramedics before being taken to hospital.
The victim suffered multiple fractures to his face and his injuries remain potentially life-changing.
The suspect fled the scene before police arrived, and detectives have released a CCTV image of the man they want to speak to as part of their ongoing enquiries. He is believed to be local to Bexley.
Detective Constable Bracey, who is leading the investigation, said: “Were you in the Wrong Un pub in Bexleyheath last Christmas Day in the early hours? Do you remember witnessing a fight between two men?
“This was a terrible assault and the victim suffered serious injuries that continue to impact his life. We need to speak with this man and if you recognise him from the CCTV please get in touch as soon as possible.”
Police are urging any witnesses to call 101, quoting CAD118/25DEC25.
