Three thugs forced their way into a house in Braehead and carried out an assault on a man there.
Patrick James Deery had been severely injured and permanently disfigured during the attack at the Afton Court property on November 3, 2019.
Twenty-eight-year-old Eddie Sludden, of Randolph Crescent, Bannockburn, Kieran Clark (26), of Braehead Road, St Ninians, and Craig McDonald (30), of Atholl Place, Raploch, all admitted a charge of assaulting Mr Deery to his severe injury and permanent disfigurement.
The charge to which the trio had pleaded guilty stated that they had forcibly entered the Afton Court house and threw a glass bottle which struck Mr Deery on the body.

They had also repeatedly punched and kicked him on the head and body.
The charge had originally stated that they had attacked Mr Deery with a glass bottle - as well as causing permanent impairment – but their guilty pleas to an amended charge had been accepted by the Crown.
At Stirling Sheriff Court on Wednesday, Sheriff Keith O’Mahony sentenced McDonald and Sludden to a community payback order comprising 240 hours’ unpaid work to be completed within 12 months as a direct alternative to custody.
There was no criminal justice social work report available to the court for Clark which Sheriff O’Mahony said was through no fault of the accused.
He deferred sentence on Clark until July 13 to obtain the report as well as a restriction of liberty order (tag) assessment. Bail was continued meantime.
