A man faced a £2,000 fine after he took off his face mask in budget store B&M.

Christopher O'Toole felt ill not long after he went into the shop at a busy retail park in Prescot, Merseyside.

He was initially wearing the face covering but felt sick and took off his mask as he prepared to leave the outlet.
