A man was knocked unconscious in an attack in Liverpool city centre.
The victim, in his 30s, was assaulted outside the smoking area of a bar on Temple Court, at around 3am on Sunday, July 24. He was treated in hospital after the attack for injuries to his forehead, nose, ear and back of his head.
Officers have described the attack as "unprovoked and violent" and have now released CCTV images of a man they'd like to speak to in connection with the incident. They believe that the person pictured will have information about the assault.
