A man has been killed in a two-car collision in County Kerry this afternoon which saw three other people taken to hospital.
The crash happened around 4pm on Saturday on the R552 road in Ballylongford, near Listowel, in the north of the county.
The man who died was the driver and sole occupant of one of these cars. He suffered fatal injuries in the collision.

There were three people in the second car, a man and woman and a teenage girl, who have all been taken to hospital to receive treatment for their injuries.
The road remains closed this evening as a technical examination of the scene is carried out.
Gardai have appealed for anyone who may have information or dashcam footage to come forward.
A Garda spokesperson said: "Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a fatal road traffic incident that occurred this afternoon, Saturday, 17th June 2023 on the R552 in Ballylongford, Co.Kerry.
"The two vehicle collision happened at around 4pm. The driver of one of these cars and sole occupant, a male, suffered fatal injuries.
"The three occupants of the second car are currently receiving treatment for their injuries. A man and woman have been taken University Hospital Kerry while a female (teens) has been taken to Cork University Hospital.
"The scene remains preserved this evening to allow for a technical examination, with local diversions in place.
"Gardaí are appealing to anyone with information to come forward to them.
"Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who may have video footage (including dash-cam) is asked to contact Gardaí.
