A MAN has died after crashing into a parked car in the Hunter Valley overnight.
Emergency services were called to Dangar Road at Singleton just after 8pm on Tuesday, November 5, after reports of a single-vehicle crash.
Police found at the scene that a car had crashed into a parked vehicle.
Ambulance paramedics rushed to the scene and treated the driver - a 56-year-old man - but he sadly died at the scene.
Hunter Valley police established a crime scene and have launched an investigation as they piece together how the crash unfolded.
A report will be prepared for the information of the coroner.
There was no impact to traffic in the area on Thursday morning.
