Man who murdered his own dad emotionless as he's jailed for life
A man who murdered his own dad appeared emotionless as he was jailed for life this morning.
Neil Badrock , 28, admitted manslaughter over the five minute street attack that left 51-year-old Neil Farrington fatally injured.
Mr Farrington’s brother James had earlier described how his panic after initially being told about the attack turned to disbelief after realising it was his nephew who had carried out the brutal assault.

He said Badrock’s actions in the aftermath of his sickening attack had only worsened the family’s pain.

Police investigating 'sexual assault' by Lime Street Station
Police have launched an investigation into a reported sexual assault outside Lime Street Station.
Officers were in attendance and a police cordon was in place at Lime Street Station on Wednesday morning.
A spokesperson from British Transport Police said: "The cordon relates to an investigation into a report of a sexual assault at the location in the early hours of February 6. Enquiries are ongoing."
Merseyside Police have been approached for comment.
