A man forked out £8,000 turning his road into "the shortest in the country with speedbumps" in an effort stop reckless drivers from speeding past his house.
Adrian Kent and his neighbours were fed up with people hurtling down the private dirt road, which is not looked after by the local authority.
His grandchildren had become too scared to play outside and residents had been repeatedly hit by stones flicked up by fast-moving vehicles.
