It comes just days after a 16-year-old boy was stabbed on a Victoria Line Tube at Stockwell Undergound Station.

Police were called out on Wednesday just before 3pm to reports of a stabbing on a packed Tube train, finding the teenager suffering from potentially life-changing injuries.

On Friday morning, Amarjay Camron Nkemayang, 18, was charged with attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.

It is said he had a hunting knife with him during the incident, which happened at Stockwell Station.
