Man in hospital after collision between car and motorbike near Abertillery - police appeal for witnesses

Police are appealing for witnesses to a road traffic collision between a motorcycle and a car that resulted in a 34-year-old man being taken to hospital.

Officers from Gwent Police are asking for information, particularly dashcam footage, about the collision on the A467 near Abertillery at around 5.30pm yesterday (July 21). The collision was between a motorcycle and a grey Kia Soul Tempest, and it happened at the entrance to the Glyndwr Industrial Estate, with the road closed in both directions for several hours.

Paramedics from the Welsh Ambulance Service attended and took a 34-year-old man from the Abertillery area to hospital.

Gwent Police said: "We’re asking for anyone who may have witnessed the collision or any motorists with dashcam footage that were using the A467 by the entrance to the Glyndwr Industrial Estate between 5pm and 5.30pm to contact us."
