Gardaí have appealed for witnesses following a fatal single-vehicle road traffic collision involving a pedestrian that occurred in January.
The incident, which took place on the R680 at Butlerstown, Waterford, on Tuesday, January 31, involved a collision between a male pedestrian and a car.
The collision occurred at approximately 7pm and the pedestrian, aged in his 50s, was subsequently taken to University Hospital Waterford for treatment. However, he has since passed away as a result of his injuries.

Gardaí are now appealing for witnesses to come forward and any road users with video footage, including dash-cam, are asked to make this available to them.
In particular, any road users who were in the area between 6:45pm and 7:15pm.
