A man is in a stable condition in hospital following a 4am stabbing outside a bar. Police were called the incident in Bury town centre and found he had been stabbed in the thigh.
The man aged in his 40s was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition, according to police.
The incident happened outside Hidden Bar on Silver Street in Bury town centre shortly before 4am on Saturday. Police have appealed for any witnesses to the incident to come forward as they started an investigation.

A source told the M.E.N. a number of fights had broken out outside the bar.
In June a man was left fighting for his life after another 4am on Silver Street. Police said the victim was punched by one person before a second thug kicked him, walked off, and then returned to film him lying on the ground.
The victim was found unconscious and not breathing by paramedics and was taken to hospital in a critical condition.
Following the latest incident, a statement from Greater Manchester Police said: "At 3.54am on 10 September, police were called to a report of an incident on Silver Street, Bury.
"Officers attended and a man in his 40s was located nearby with a puncture wound to his thigh. He was taken to hospital where he remains in stable condition.
"Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances and identify the offender.
"Anyone with information, or anyone who witnessed this incident, or may have dashcam/CCTV footage, is asked to contact Bury CID on 0161 856 8562 / 0161 856 8213 quoting log number 567 of the 10 th September 2022.
"Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
