A man is in critical condition following a serious road crash on a busy Scots road.
Th incident, involving a white Vauxhall Mokka, occurred on Bellshill Road, Motherwell at around 11.10am, on March 18.
The car has been travelling north on Friday, when it went off the road near Dalriada Crescent and entered the gardens of nearby homes.
Emergency services attended the scene and the 62-year-old driver of the Vauxhall was rushed to Wishaw General Hospital.
His condition has been described as critical. No-one else was injured as a result of the collision.
The road was closed and re-opened at around 3.30pm.
Sergeant Craig McDonald of Police Scotland’s Road Policing Unit in Motherwell said: “We are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the crash and also anyone who was in the area around the time of the crash with dash-cam footage that could assist with our investigation.
