A man has been hospitalised following a collision with a car during a protest in Dublin city centre.
The incident happened this evening during a protest that was taking place in the Seville Place area of the city. Gardai have confirmed they are investigating all circumstances surrounding the incident.
A man, who is in his 30s, was arrested in connection with the incident. He is being held by gardai in a north Dublin station this evening.

A garda spokeswoman told Dublin Live: "Gardaí are investigating all the circumstances surrounding a road traffic collision that occurred in Seville Place, Dublin 1 this evening Wednesday 15th February 2023. One male was taken to hospital. A male (aged in his 30s) was arrested and is currently detained in a Garda station in North Dublin."
