A lorry worker is in hospital after being trapped by a vehicle outside a Glasgow museum. Police were called to Pointhouse Place in Partick, at the Riverside Museum, on Monday.
The alarm was raised just after 9.30am when officers received reports of a 'lorry worker becoming injured' at the scene. One man was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
The man's age, the nature of his injuries and current medical condition were not disclosed. The incident took place while workers dismantled structures used for the Riverside Festival, according to the BBC.

The three-day event ended on Saturday.
Police confirmed the incident at around lunchtime on Monday.
A police spokeswoman told Glasgow Live : “Officers were called to reports of a lorry worker becoming injured on Pointhouse Place, Glasgow at around 9.35am on Monday, June 6. Emergency services attended and the worker was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital."
Just after 1pm the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) confirmed their attendance to 'assist' police and, at that point, were still at the scene. At around 4pm fire chiefs revealed that the man was 'trapped by a vehicle'.
Three fire appliances were sent to the museum and left after making the area safe.
A spokesperson told Glasgow Live: "We were called at 8.54am on Monday, June 6 to assist at an incident at Pointhouse Place, Glasgow. Operations Control mobilised three appliances to the scene.
"One male casualty trapped by a vehicle was released and handed into the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service. Firefighters made the area safe before leaving the location."
Riverside Museum chiefs announced that the tourist attraction would be closed for the day, citing 'unforeseen circumstances'. A statement was released at around 10am on Monday.
It read: "Due to unforeseen circumstances, Riverside will not be open today. We're sorry for any disappointment this causes and will update on reopening as soon as we are able to."
Glasgow Life, who run the museum, confirmed the closure.
A spokesperson told the Daily Record: "We can confirm that Riverside will remain closed today."
The Scottish Ambulance Service have been contacted for comment.
