Man has £50,000 penis reattached to groin after living with it on his arm for six years

A Channel 4 documentary set to air tonight, May 3, will tell the story of a father whose penis fell off in the toilet due to a horrific blood infection, which led to him getting a new one attached to his arm. Malcolm MacDonald, now 47, lost his penis in 2010, and has only just had a new one attached to the right place.

After being made to feel emasculated by the ordeal of losing his penis, Malcolm was due to receive his new NHS-funded £50,000 phallic creation in 2015. However, his pain was prolonged as doctors were unable to attach the six-inch penis between his legs seven years ago because there was not enough oxygen in his blood, according to The Mirror.

As a result of his low oxygen levels, Malcolm's new penis had to be attached to his arm instead. Unfortunately, the appendage had to stay on Malcolm's limb for some time as a result of hospital delays and the Covid-19 pandemic.

During tonight's documentary, Malcolm, a dad-of-two from Norfolk, speaks of his happiness to finally have his genitalia back. He said: "It was a nine-hour op.

"The first thing I did was look down and I was like, 'Oh my days. They got it this time'. I feel like a real man again."

Malcolm, who plays darts, even learnt to tuck darts under his member. He told the documentary makers: "It's something to tell the grandchildren, isn't it?"

His penis was created by Professor David Ralph of London's University College Hospital, who constructed it out of flesh from Malcolm's arm, so that he has sensation in it. Malcolm will even be able to have sex with his new penis, as he has a pump in his scrotum which will fill it with a saline solution.

Malcolm revealed the operation could be huge for his future. After hiding the penis on his arm by wearing long sleeved tops, he said: "This could be a turning point in my life.

"My luck in life hasn’t been too good so far, but it can only go bad for so long, can’t it? Can you imagine six years of your life with a penis swinging on your arm?

"It’s been a nightmare, but it’s gone now — the little bugger."

The Man with a Penis on His Arm airs tonight, May 3, on Channel 4 at 10:05pm.
