A man was found unresponsive after police were called to a serious assault in Trafford. Officers were scrambled to Primrose Avenue in Urmston at around 8.30am this morning (March 25). The male victim was discovered there unconscious and was found to have suffered a head injury. He was rushed to hospital but has since been discharged.
Police say the group have been described as males in their 20s. One member is thought to have curly hair and a pony tail and another was described as being mixed race, tall and slim with short hair.

Early investigations have revealed that some of the group left the scene in a vehicle, whilst others fled on foot towards Crofts Bank Road. No arrests have been made.
Detectives are appealing for anyone with information or who witnessed the nasty assault to contact police immediately. In a post on Facebook, the force said: "We are appealing for information following a serious assault in Trafford.
"At around 8.30am on Friday 25 March 2022, we received a report that a man had been assaulted by a group on Primrose Avenue, Urmston.
"Officers attended and found an unresponsive male with a head injury. He was taken to hospital but has since been discharged. The group are described as males in their 20s.
"One is described as having curly hair and a pony tail, another as being mixed race, tall and slim with short hair. Enquiries have established that some of the group left in a vehicle and others on foot towards Crofts Bank Road."
