A man was found dead on a busy street in Wigan. Emergency services were called to reports of concern for the welfare of a man on Kendal Road in Ince on Thursday (May 12) at around 5.05pm.
The man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. Police believe there to be no suspicious circumstances around the death.
Local residents reported seeing multiple police and ambulance on Kendal Road. The resident said: "Yesterday I saw to police cars drive up and down the road, there's always ambulance and police around here."

A spokesperson for GMP said: "We were called at around 5.05pm on Thursday 12 May to a report of concern for the welfare of a man at an address on Kendal Road, Ince.
"Emergency services attended and the man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. There are no suspicious circumstances and a file has been passed to the coroner."
