A man has been found dead at a property in the east end of Glasgow.
The body of a 44-year-old was discovered on Aberfoyle Street at 3am on Tuesday morning. Sources claim the grim find was made in a garden.
Police officers and the Scottish Ambulance Service were called to the scene but the man was pronounced dead.
A 55-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident.
A police cordon has been erected on the street and officers have blocked access from Irongray Street to Aberdour Street with a police vehicle.
Residents say forensic teams were in the area this morning as an investigation got underway.
A squad car remains parked outside a property. A Police Scotland mobile wellbeing unit is also on site.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware of the death of a 44-year-old man on Aberfoyle Street in Glasgow around 3am on Tuesday, 20 December.
“The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
“A 55-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries are ongoing.”
