Man found at Bellshill house named locally as police probe ‘unexplained’ death

Police Bellshill

A man who died after being seriously injured at a house in Bellshill has been named locally as Sammy Hamilton.

The 56-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene in Thorndean Avenue following a call to police at around 11.30pm on Wednesday (May 18).

Police Scotland is currently treating his death as unexplained.
