A man is fighting for his life after a crash on the M56.
Emergency services attended a three vehicle crash, at around 6.55am on Monday, January 30. A white Mercedes A Class, a white Mercedes Flatbed van and a blue McLaren 720S were involved on the motorway eastbound, near junction 9 at Lymm.
Police have now confirmed that the driver of the white Mercedes A Class, a 48-year-old man from Runcorn, was taken to hospital with serious injuries. He remains in hospital at this time, his condition is described as life-threatening.
