A man is clinging to life after he and his dad were assaulted by a mob as they celebrated the birth of a baby.
Sources told the Irish Mirror that Dylan McCarthy, 29, suffered serious head injuries in the attack by up to six men. An insider said last night: “It is looking very bad for him.”
Dylan, from the Kilmallock area of Co Limerick, was hit at 12.30am yesterday. He and father Eamon, who is in his 50s, were out in Monasterevin, North Kildare.
