Witnesses are being sought after a man in his thirties was left fighting for his life after a stabbing in Hounslow.

Metropolitan Police officers were called to Earl Haig Close, just off Bath Road, near Hounslow West Tube Station in West London at 12.30am on Friday.

A man was treated with life-threatening injuries, Hounslow Police said.

Enquiries are ongoing, and there will be extra officers in the area on Friday, police said.

London Ambulance Service said it was called to reports of an incident on Beavers Lane.

“We sent a number of resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew, an advanced paramedic, an incident response officer and a community first responder. We also dispatched a trauma team from London’s Air Ambulance which consisted of a paramedic and a doctor in a car.

“We treated a person at the scene before taking them to a major trauma centre.”
