A man had to be taken to hospital after reportedly falling down a set of stairs at Nottingham's Motorpoint Arena during Jake Bugg's homecoming anniversary concert. The Clifton-born singer was celebrating the tenth anniversary of his self-titled debut album when the incident occurred on Saturday (November 26).
A member of the crowd who was at the gig told Nottinghamshire Live that a man appeared to have fallen backwards down a set of stairs in the arena.
The Motorpoint Arena has now confirmed that a man was injured at the venue on Saturday night. A spokesperson for the arena said: "A male customer fell and sustained an injury whilst at our venue on Saturday evening.

"Our medical team on site responded promptly and treated the customer, who was then taken to hospital by ambulance. We would like to thank our medical team for their response and care which always puts our customers' health and safety at the forefront of what we do, and other customers who came to the man's aid at the scene."
