A man has died in hospital five days after being involved in a road crash in Co Tyrone last week.
The man was taken from the scene of the collision on the Melmount Road area of Sion Mills by the Northern Ireland Air Ambulance last Tuesday. However, he sadly passed away on Sunday 31 July.
The man was a driver of a white Vauxhall van which collided with a Volvo lorry at around 1.50pm on Tuesday 26 March. A police spokesperson has made a further appeal to anyone who may have witnessed the crash.

"Police can confirm a man who was injured in a road traffic collision in Sion Mills last month has died," the PSNI spokesperson said.
"The two-vehicle collision on Tuesday, 26th July on Melmount Road involved a white Vauxhall van and a blue Volvo lorry, and was reported to police at around 1.50pm.
Police, along with other emergency services, attended the scene where the driver of the van was taken to hospital by Air Ambulance. The man sadly passed away in hospital yesterday, Sunday, 31st July.
"Officers from the Collision Investigation Unit continue to appeal to anyone who may have witnessed what occurred, or captured the collision on their dash cam and who has not yet spoken with police, to get in touch by calling 101, and quoting reference number 953 of 26/07/22."
The news comes just hours after another man was killed following a road crash in the Mountfield area of Co Tyrone on Sunday night.
