A man has tragically died after falling ill inside a Morrison's store in Tameside. Police were called to the supermarket on Foundry Street in Dukinfield on Thursday afternoon (17 November).
Multiple emergency responders rushed to the scene after GMP received reports of the concern for the welfare of a man inside.
Despite the best efforts of paramedics who treated the man at the scene, he was sadly pronounced dead a short time later.

No further details surrounding the man's death have been released by police at this stage, but there are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances. They have not confirmed any information about the man's age or identity.
Eye-witnesses described a major police response outside the store on Thursday afternoon, with a police officer spotted guarding the entrance to the supermarket.
It's understood members of the public came to the man's aid and attempted to administer medical help before paramedics arrived at the scene.
A spokesperson for GMP said: "At around 4pm on Thursday 17 November 2022, Greater Manchester Police were called to Foundry Street in Tameside regarding the concern for the welfare of a man.
"Sadly despite the best attempts of emergency services who arrived at the scene he was pronounced dead a short time later. There are believed not to be any suspicious circumstances around this.
A spokesperson for Morrisons said: "A customer in our Dukinfield store required medical assistance and was taken to hospital to receive further treatment."
