A man died Monday after he was shot in the Calumet Heights neighborhood on the South Side.
The man, 30, was walking Monday in the 1600 block of East 93rd Street when somebody shot him in his neck and lower body, Chicago police said.
He was taken in critical condition to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he later died, according to police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office. His name has not been released.
No arrests were reported.
