A man has died following a collision involving a truck and car in Limerick.
It happened on the N69 at Mungret around 9.30am today.
Emergency services were called to the scene and the driver of the car, a man aged in his 40s, was taken to University Hospital Limerick where he later died.

No other serious injuries have been reported.
The road is currently closed for a forensic collision investigation with local diversions in place.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to contact them.
A spokesperson said: “Gardai are currently at the scene of a fatal road traffic collision involving a car and a truck that occurred at approximately 9:30am on Tuesday 24th January 2023 on the N69 at Mungret, County Limerick.
“Gardai are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward. Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling on the N69 in the Mungret area between 9am and 9:45am are asked to make this footage available to gardai.”
