A man has died after falling from a scooter in Lancashire. The tragedy happened on Blackburn Road in Edenfield just before 7pm last night (Saturday, May 13).
The man, in his 50s, was travelling northbound when he left the road and fell from the scooter, Lancashire Police said.
Emergency services were scrambled, but the man suffered fatal injuries and was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

The road remained closed - from the Woolpack pub junction at Haslingden - for over five hours.
Police then handed the road over to the council who carried out 'remedial work' before re-opening it. Officers are now appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.
Sgt Pete Fyans, from Lancashire Police’s Roads Policing Unit, said: “My thoughts are very much with the man’s family at this sad and difficult time.
“We are investigating the circumstances around the collision and would encourage anyone with information to come forward. If you can help, or have any dashcam footage, please get in touch.”
