The quiet residential street was sealed off on Tuesday morning, with two police vehicles seen guarding each side of the cordon.

Plain clothed officers could be seen conducting door-to-door enquiries nearby, with much of their investigations focusing on a forensic tent inside the cordon.

One local resident said he was awoken at 5am this morning by a police officer who was then seen standing outside another flat.

Another said he knew nothing of the police incident until he stepped outside his flat this morning.

He said that locals have had issues with people trying to steal bikes from the car park but that it's an otherwise quiet area.
