A man has died after falling from height at Westfield Stratford shopping centre.
Police said that a man was seriously injured after falling from height at the shopping centre shortly after 4pm and died a short time later.
In a statement, officers said: “A man was found seriously injured at the location after a fall from height.
“London Ambulance Service (LAS) were called to the scene. Despite the efforts of emergency services, he died a short time later.
“Enquiries are ongoing to identify his next of kin. A scene has been put in place.”

Westfield Stratford said on social media staff at the centre were dealing with an “incident”.
A spokesperson for the London Ambulance Service said it was called to the shopping centre at 4.27pm.
“We sent resources including an ambulance crew, medics in response cars, an advanced paramedic and an incident response officer. We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance,” said a spokesperson.
“Sadly, despite the best efforts of our crews, a man was pronounced dead at the scene.”
