A man has died after falling from a waterfall while exploring a popular Blue Mountains scenic site an hour west of Sydney.
The man, believed to be in his 20s, was with a group at Minnehaha Falls in Katoomba.
Emergency services were called to the waterfall about 1.30pm, and found the man suffering serious injuries.
Paramedics treated the man, but he died at the scene.
A rescue helicopter was called in but cancelled when he was unable to be revived.
The man has not been formally identified and inquiries into the incident are ongoing, NSW Police said.
