A man died after being 'pulled from the sea' in North Wales.
The Welsh Ambulance Service and North Wales Police were called to the scene at Benllech Beach in Anglesey yesterday (March 29). A 50-year-old man was taken to hospital but attempts to revive him were unsuccessful. Police say enquiries into the man's death are ongoing.
A police spokesperson told NorthWalesLive : "Shortly after 8am yesterday (29 March) officers attended Benllech beach following a report from Welsh Ambulance Service. The report related to concerns for a 50-year-old man who had been pulled from the sea in an unresponsive state.

"Officers and paramedic crews attended the scene before the man was taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd by ambulance. Attempts to revive the male were unsuccessful and, sadly, he was later pronounced dead.
"Officers are currently liaising with the man’s family and our enquiries into this incident remain ongoing."
