The opening of an inquest has been told a 31-year-old man died after being hit by a train. Luke Davies died after an incident between Castle Bridge Road and Wilford Road in Nottingham on May 9.
A post mortem provisionally found that the 31-year-old died as a result of multiple traumatic injuries after a collision with a train, assistant coroner Gordon Clow said during the short hearing.
Mr Clow, who opened the inquest at Nottingham Council House on Tuesday, August 23, added that Mr Davies was identified through fingerprint analysis. “I express my condolences and best wishes to the family and friends of Luke Davies for his passing,” he said.
