Man described himself as 'martyr for paedophiles' in disturbing seven-page letter

A man described himself as a "martyr" for paedophiles in a disturbing seven-page letter.

Mikael Janesson was jailed yesterday after a threesome gone wrong led to police discovering his vile stash of indecent images. Ahead of his sentencing, the 41-year-old submitted a lengthy dossier to the court in which he attempted to justify his sick actions.

In this document, the ECHO understands that he called himself a "martyr for paedophilia" and compared himself to Alan Turing - the mathematician who cracked the Enigma code during the Second World War but was persecuted for being gay. Liverpool Crown Court heard that he had detailed an "alternative society which goes against societal norms" in his writings.
