The fatal collision happened near Hennebry's Cross on the N77 between Kilkenny town and Ballyragget just before 4pm this afternoon.

The man, aged in his 30s, was the driver of one of the vehicles and he was pronounced dead at St Luke's General Hospital Kilkenny shortly after the crash.
