A man has been arrested after a crash in Southport earlier this month.
Police were called to reports of a crash on Kew roundabout at around 10pm on Saturday, December 10. It was alleged that a Ford Fiesta was being driven in the wrong direction and crashed with a Ford Mondeo.
Officers said there were no injuries reported. A Widnes man, 36, has since been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and drink driving.

He has been released under investigation. Merseyside police are now appealing for more information about the incident.
A spokesperson for the force said: "We are appealing for information following a road traffic collision in Southport earlier this month. At around 10pm on Saturday, December 10, we received a report that a Ford Fiesta was driven in the wrong direction on the Kew roundabout and collided with a Ford Mondeo.
"There were no reported injuries. A 36-year-old man from Widnes was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and drink driving. He has been released under investigation.
"Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the collision and anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information or dashcam footage is asked to contact police.
