A man covered in cuts and bruises collapsed outside a city centre hotel.
The man was found unconscious next to the steps of the Travelodge at Old Haymarket at around 6.35pm yesterday, Thursday March 30. An ambulance was called, and paramedics arrived at the scene shortly before 9pm.

The man, was taken to Royal Liverpool University Hospital. He had suffered head and neck injuries.
A North West Ambulance Service spokesman said: "We took a call to an incident on Old Haymarket at 6.35pm yesterday. We sent an ambulance to scene and treated a patient with head/neck injuries and took them to The Royal."
Merseyside police were contacted, but said the incident "appeared to be a medical episode".
