The Premier League title isn't quite on the line just yet, but in the eyes of most people it is.
And in the opinion of the Mirror Football team, Wednesday's night's summit meeting is only going one way.
Manchester City would narrow the gap to Arsenal to just two points with a win at the Etihad Stadium, and the fact that they would retain two games in hand on their title rivals would make them firm favourites for glory once more.
With Arsenal dropping six points in their last three games, a title which had been in their grasp has slipped away, giving City the opportunity to pounce.
According to our team, it is a chance they won't miss.
Mike Walters: Man City 3-1 Arsenal
One of them is firing on all cylinders, the other is spluttering and leaking too many goals.
For romantics, the outcome would be an away win, the title destiny back in Arsenal's hands.
But Pep Guardiola has never lost a title race with City when it's in the balance, so why should he start now?
No matter how brightly or sprightly the Gunners may start - and they may even go in front tonight - they are weakened defensively by William Saliba's back injury, and with Thomas Partey going off the boil faster than that poor rabbit in Fatal Attraction, Arsenal are likely to be worn down by City's relentlessness and quality.
And even if Mikel Arteta's men upset the odds, they have still got to go to Newcastle.
The title race ends tonight. Now, who's going to win the Ashes?
Tom Victor: Man City 3-0 Arsenal
As much as neutrals might love to see Arsenal claim all three points and send the title race down to the wire, it's not looking likely.
The worst news for the Gunners in recent weeks hasn't been the results posted by City, but rather the ease with which they've been achieved. While Mikel Arteta's team have been under the cosh, their rivals have had the luxury of withdrawing players early to keep them fresh.
William Saliba's continued absence is just another blow for the visitors, who will need to remind themselves second place to this frightening City side would still be an achievement after how last season ended.
I'm going with a 3-0 City win, and not even too difficult an evening for them.
Darren Lewis: Man City 3-0 Arsenal
City will win this.
Near-invincible at home, they have confidence coursing through their side and are razor sharp. Arsenal will start fast but, as they try to keep Haaland quiet, Silva will grab the opener, Arsenal will over-commit in search of an equaliser and City will hit another two.
Without Saliba, the Gunners don’t quite have the leadership and organisation at the back that they did during their winning run. Sadly for the red and white half of north London it will see City extend theirs.

Alex Richards: Man City 3-1 Arsenal
This is undoubtedly the Premier League match of the season... and unfortunately, Arsenal have hit a brick wall.
They're still scoring goals, but it seems no-one quite knew just how good William Saliba was, because without him, that Gunners defence has suddenly become very rash and riddled with mistakes. Eight goals conceded in their last three games is hardly the ideal preparation for the Etihad.
City are doing what City do. In recent years they've seemed to manage their campaigns in the early part, tinkering things and tailoring individuals' bits and pieces, before bringing it altogether for the run-in - and proving almost unstoppable, certainly where the league is concerned.
With their experience, quality, knowhow and the just plain ridiculous appetite for scoring goals that their record-breaking No.9 has, I'd expect them to have too much for Arsenal and to get the win that all but ends this title contest.
Andy Dunn: Man City 4-1 Arsenal
The biggest threat to Manchester City ’s charge might be complacency.
Pep Guardiola’s team only had to play at full throttle for half of their last Premier League game (the 3-1 win over Leicester ), an hour of their Champions League match in Munich (a 4-1 aggregate victory) and for very little of the most routine FA Cup semi-final triumph you will see (3-0 versus Sheffield United).
They will need to raise their tempo against Arsenal but if there is one manager who will rage against complacency, it is Guardiola.
And with the likes of Riyad Mahrez, Phil Foden and Julian Alvarez likely to be on the bench, he has so many options to change things up.
Mikel Arteta will have to curb his instincts, mount a heavily-manned defensive effort and hope for the best on the break.
The league leaders will score on the counter but City will be unstoppable. Expect a handsome win for the home side. I’m going 4-1.
John Cross: Man City 3-0 Arsenal
I fear for Arsenal.
Mikel Arteta’s men have hit a rocky spell just when Manchester City have gone on their amazing annual winning streak.
Frankly, Arsenal’s problems began when William Saliba got injured. For those that have not seen much of him or Arsenal this season, it would be easy to underestimate his importance.
Arsenal have missed his pace of recovery, his reading of the game and also how he helps them build up from the back. It has almost put the whole team out of balance.
Contrast that to Pep Guardiola’s men who are just in the most incredible groove now and I fancy them to go on and win the Treble. Arsenal deserve so much credit for pushing the best team of modern times to the very limit this season.
City boss Guardiola is, to me, a football genius who has almost reinvented the game. I love watching City play, they are the best team of the Premier League era in my eyes and will have too much for Arsenal.
I think Erling Haaland will be impossible to stop and Arsenal have a formidable mission in front of them.
Simon Mullock: Man City 3-1 Arsenal
Manchester City have been unstoppable since losing to Tottenham 16 games ago - and the bad news for Arsenal is that Pep Guardiola's team always turns up for big games at the Etihad.
Having reeled in the Gunners over recent weeks, the reigning champions will see this as a chance to really flex their muscles by beating Mikel Arteta's team for a third time this season.
I expect City to take all three points - but I don't believe this game will necessarily decide the outcome of the title race.
Arsenal have been exceptional this season. They have hit a bump in the road at the worst possible time but maybe it will suit them to play under less expectation in the coming weeks.
Guardiola is desperate to make history by winning a third successive title. But with talk of a Treble now being hyped up every day, his team are coming under so much pressure that more twists and turns are surely inevitable.
Sam Meade: Man City 2-0 Arsenal
City and Arsenal appear to heading in different directions currently, although this game may get the Gunners going again. Even if it does though, the hosts look like they're in full swing and will take some stopping.
They already showed, when the north Londoners were performing well, that they can contain them and take their chances by winning at the Emirates in February. No William Saliba is a massive miss and this game has a whiff on total Guardiola control.
I'd expect City to get the job done comfortably with Erling Haaland on the scoresheet in a 2-0 victory. I can half see the Manchester outfit going ahead early on and then just managing the game, playing keep ball, as they look to keep things ticking over with the treble firmly in their sights.
Nathan Ridley: Man City 3-1 Arsenal
A lot's happened since these two teams last met but I'm going for the same outcome.
Manchester City have only gotten more serious since their triumph at the Emirates and I can't see how Arsenal's patched-up defensive unit becomes the first to shut Pep Guardiola's men out since Tottenham did on February 5.
As for the Gunners, they're leaking goals of all kind, no-doubt in part to William Saliba's continued absence. City, though, are still struggling to keep clean sheets, so don't count out another Arsenal equaliser or a goal to put the pressure on late in the game.
I'd love to be wrong and watch Wednesday night throw up a surprise to make the title race even more compelling and less predictable than City steamrolling everyone until May 28. I just can't see it.
Mark Jones: Man City 4-3 Arsenal
There have been quite a few mad games of late haven't there?
Maybe there's something in the Premier League water at the moment, but I can see this one going a similar way.
Arsenal's big problem recently has been a failure control their nervous energy, as well as a psyche that collapses in on itself when put under pressure. It was there in the second half at Anfield, when West Ham upped the stakes at the London Stadium and then when the Southampton game went so wrong, so quickly.
But they aren't expected to win or even get anything at City, so that could play into their favour.
I could see them potentially taking the lead, as well as frequently troubling a City defence that can be got at if you get past Rodri, which is a big if.
The home side will still win though, but it could be a classic.
