Manchester City unveiled three of their four summer signings on Sunday in Erling Haaland, Julian Alvarez and Stefan Ortega Moreno.
Kalvin Phillips missed the fan event due to illness and City plan to keep spending despite splashing out nearly £100million on him and Haaland. They are targeting Brighton's highly-rated Spanish defender Marc Cucurella and Pep Guardiola feels his squad still needs one or two more tweaks.
Leaving is Raheem Sterling and he is quitting the Etihad after seven years to join Chelsea for an initial £45million. Mirror Sport has rounded up the latest Man City transfer news, gossip and rumours.
Leipzig block City interest
TEAMtalk claim Manchester City have hit an obstacle in their hunt for a replacement for Chelsea target Nathan Ake. Chelsea want to bolster their defence with the £45million acquisition of Ake and the Dutchman is open to moving back to his former club. But City want to land a replacement first and have identified RB Leipzig's Josko Gvardiol as their No 1 target. However Leipzig are reportedly unwilling to sell just one year after buying the Croatian centre-half for £16million and want to offer him new terms to insure his value.

City selling 'new Messi'
Barca Blaugranes carry a report claiming Bernardo Silva could be the new Lionel Messi for Barcelona. Silva is wanted by Barcelona and Pep Guardiola has ruled out the Portugal star leaving City this summer. But Silva's old Benfica coach, Helder Cristovao, says it has always been his dream to play for them since he was young. "A club as historical and big as Barca is, hungry for success, would be the ideal challenge for him," he said. "It's been a dream since he was a kid, representing Barca, to be the legendary No 10 like Messi."
Sterling on the brink
Football.london carry multiple reports that Sterling's switch from Manchester City to Chelsea will be confirmed imminently. City decided to cash in on Sterling when he said he would not sign a new deal with just a season left on his current agreement and Chelsea will pay an initial £45million for the England star, plus £10million in add-ons. Sterling had his medical in London on Sunday and has signed a five-year deal with Chelsea. Chelsea feel luring Sterling away from the Etihad is a real coup and a statement signing for the new regime of Todd Boehly.
